Unknown Mask
A mask, or headdress, made from white and red cotton, and decorated with circles of fur, cowrie shells, mirror and plastic buttons. It is one of a number of masks that were purchased by the Welcome Foundation from the Stevens auction in 1908, it was acquired by the British Museum in 1954.
