Carving of Colonial Figure in Pith Helmet
A carved figure of a man wearing a Western short-sleeved shirt, shorts and a pith helmet. It is perhaps a representation of a colonial officer, although it in interesting that he is barefoot. His hands are in his short pockets. The carved wooden helmet is detachable. It was presented to the Sierra Leone Museum by Paramount Chief Jai Kai Kai of Pujehun District.
