Pirate Flag
This is a replica of a flag that is said to have been used by Bartholomew Roberts, a well known pirate who is thought to have attacked the fort on Bunce Island in 1720. The notorious pirate was caught and executed in 1721 when he tried and failed to steal the British warship, The Swallow. The flag was designed by Roberts, and shows a pirate holding a gauntlet with death.
