Wooden Bell
This is a double ended wooden bell, or rattle. A piece of rope is threaded through each end, and attached to it are pieces of wood which resonate inside either end when it is shaken. The Sierra Leone National Museum catalogue describes it as a Kontho, which is also the name given to a slit drum, similar to the kele, or kelein.
