Female Figure

This is a carved wooden female figure. Her hands are resting on her hips and she has a geometric band carved into her hair. She wears a metal chain around her neck and is mounted on a circular pedestal. This was originally part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum collection. It was acquired by the British Museum in 1954.
