Dug-out Canoe
This is a dug-out canoe, made from hollowing out, and shaping, a single piece of wood. It has pointed ends, one of which is covered with canvas that has been painted with tar to seal it from water. The canoe has an old label fixed to it, which reads KROO CANOE USED BY THE FISHERMEN ON THE COAST IN SIERRA LEONE.
