Woven Grass Mat
A woven grass mat, with a pattern of dark brown and red stripes. This example was given to the British Museum by the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, London. It was originally collected by Dr Robert Clarke, who was a colonial surgeon in Sierra Leone between 1838 and 1843.
