Photographic Print

Black and white photographic print, showing a portrait taken of the chief of Petifu and some of his wives. Petifu means new town in Temne. This photo is part of a collection from an album put together by William Vivian in 1889; Vivian was a Missionary with the United Methodist Free Churches, and is likely to have taken the photographs himself. This is an albumen print.
