A-Rong a-Thoma Mask
A carved wooden A-Rong a-Thoma [ araung etoma or Athoma have also been used] mask from the raGbenle society. It has long downward pointing horns and large rounded triangular nostrils. The mouth is at the base of the mask, with large rectangular teeth. It is worn flat on the head, along with a raffia fringe that is attached to the mask, but missing in this case. The costume also includes a cape and raffia leggings.
