Wooden Bird

A wooden carving of a bird, mounted onto a wooden stand; possibly a later addition. It is decorated with incised linear patterns, representing plumage. The World Museum Liverpool catalogue describes it as an ostrich. The carving was collected by C.D. Hotobah During, a well-known Krio Barrister who spent many years based in Freetown.
