Ancient Pottery
This is an earthenware pot, found near the Bafi River, Kamara Chiefdom, Kono District. The acquisition notes recorded is was found resting on gravel and at least 15 feet below the surface . The pot has distinctive impressed decoration around its neck. It was broken at the rim when it entered the collection in 1962.
