Commemorative Key
A key, commemorating the opening of a new Barclays Bank building in Freetown. The inscription reads: Presented to Sir Milton Margai M.B.E. Prime Minister of Sierra Leone at the Opening Ceremony of Barclays Bank D.C.O. Freetown. On the other side: By Architect Nickson and Boxys and Partners and general Contractors Taylor Woodrow (Sierra Leone Ltd.) D.C.O. stands for Dominion Colonial and Overseas . Barclays Bank first opened a branch in Sierra Leone in 1917.
