Female Figure
This carved female figure is described by the Sierra Leone National Museum records as a Sherbro twin figure carving. Twin figures have been more commonly associated with the north of Sierra Leone, though the so-called minsereh , or min , figures used by the Mende Njayei, and Bullom Yasi, societies, have sometimes been referred to as twin figures .
