Needlework Sampler

A needlework sampler depicting the British Coat of Arms in blue, cream, and red. Embroidered in petit pointe, a technique also known as Krio embroidery in Sierra Leone. It is believed that this technique arrived in Sierra Leone with the freed slaves from the Americas.
