Tufted Grass Hat
A conical hat, made from coiled natural fibre. The outside of the hat is covered in tufts of dyed and undyed grass, arranged in a geometric pattern. This was originally part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum collection. It was acquired by the British Museum in 1954.
